A shoulder protection unit is provided to facilitate the connection and disconnection thereof and to allow a user to control a temperature of fomentation. An arm fixing portion(2) is formed at a bottom end of the shoulder protection unit(1), and wing portions(3) are formed at both top sides of the shoulder protection unit(1). Connection rings(4) are fixed to both ends of the wing portions(3). A connection string(5) made of a Velcro tape is fitted into the connection strings(4). The connection string(5) is sufficiently long to be length controllable. A pouch for accommodating a heat generation plate or an ice pack is placed in the shoulder protection unit(1). A Velcro tape is fixed to the outside of the arm fixing portion(2) so that a battery(8) can be fixed thereto in use of the heat generation plate.
