<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply amount presetting method which can present the ink supply amount so as to be a color tone close to a color tone of a printing machine which is a reference color of the color tone of the printed material, even a printing is performed in a plurality of printing machines with different print properties, and to provide a presetting device. <P>SOLUTION: The ink supply amount presetting method comprises obtaining print characteristics information of a reference printing machine, obtaining print characteristics information of a target printing machine, obtaining a relationship between an image-line rate and the ink supply amount, obtaining halftone-dot area ratio data of each ink supply zone of a printing texture, obtaining a reference mixture color halftone density corresponding to a data halftone-dot area ratio based on the reference print characteristics information, obtaining the ink supply amount in order to obtain the reference mixture color halftone density by the printing of the target printing machine based on the relationship between the image-line rate and the ink supply amount, the image-line rate of each ink supply zone based on the data halftone-dot area ratio, the target print characteristics information, the reference mixture color halftone density, and presetting the ink supply amount based on the ink supply amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
