PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recommendation content concerning a method of providing content items located on a server to a client. SOLUTION: In response to a request, the server 2 transmits a first content recommendation list according to a user feedback profile. The client 3 generates user feedback about each in the list, and transmits corresponding user feedback information to the server. According to entry selection in the first content recommendation list, a second recommendation list request is transmitted to the server, and the visual representation of the first content recommendation list entry is provided. The server receives the user feedback information, generates a second content recommendation list based on the user feedback information, transmits it in response to the second recommendation list request, and provides the visual representation of a second content recommendation list entry by selection. On the basis of the selection, the server starts transmission processing of one or more content items, and the second content recommendation list is prepared in advance of receiving the second recommendation list request.
