<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein thermal noise increases greatly and hence C/N deteriorates, and reception sensitivity deteriorates remarkably as compared with a case where a circuit is composed with prescribed bandwidth, since the bandwidth of a reception filter is larger than necessary at low-rate transmission, even if a circuit component and the reception filter corresponding to the maximum speed of the transmission rate are designed in a data communication device. <P>SOLUTION: The data communication device has a first transmitter to which image data having at least two types of transmission speeds are input; a first receiver for receiving the image data; and a first control unit to which first speed information related to at least two types of transmission speeds is input. The first receiver has a first filter capable of switching at least two types of band characteristics, and the first control unit switches the band characteristics of the first filter, based on the first speed information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
