<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laser welding equipment and a laser welding method in which a welding stage by the laser welding equipment and a stage for performing quality inspection for the joining strength of a weld zone can be performed in the same stage (same equipment), thus time/cost can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The laser welding equipment performs laser welding of a ribbon material 11 (a first member to be welded) and a bus bar 12 (a second member to be welded), the ribbon material 11 overlapping the bus bar 12, by irradiating a part to be welded (welding part 3) with laser beam emitted from the side of the ribbon material 11, and equipment is provided with an inspection means (such as an engagement rod 10) which relatively moves the ribbon material 11 and the bus bar 12 and applies tensile strength to the weld zone, and thus inspects the joining strength in the weld zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
