PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the arithmetic operation by small-scaled circuit configurations or a simple software arithmetic operation. SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with a storage means (206) for calculating and storing the square of a difference between the Y coordinate of a reference point and the Y coordinate of a target point only once in the head of each line of image data; a square operation means (208) for calculating the square of a difference between the X coordinate of the target point to be input in the order of raster and the X coordinate of the reference point; an addition means (210) for calculating the sum of the stored square of a difference between the Y coordinate of the reference point and the Y coordinate of the target point and the square of a difference between the X coordinate of the target point and the X coordinate of the reference point for outputting the square of a distance between the reference point and the target point; and an image processing means for operating image processing to the image data of the target point based on the square of the distance between the reference point and the target point.
