PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch the operating mode of a portable communication terminal by remote operation from other communication device, only when the user (owner) of the portable communication terminal desires. SOLUTION: The portable communication terminal comprises a means 24 for determining the formation of a trigger when a previously registered predetermined number of times of termination call from a source is reached within a predetermined time, a means 21 for switching the operation mode of the portable communication terminal, when the trigger determining means 24 determines that a trigger has been established, and a means 22 for informing a response, indicating that the operation mode has been switched by the operating mode switching means 21 with respect to a previously registered source.
