PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable, small and light flow control valve to reduced in wearing deformation and lopsidedness both at the tip of its valve core rod and at its valve seat, and to provide a blowpipe using the same. SOLUTION: The valve core rod 6 is composed of a valve core rod body 3 having a circumferential wall 21 extending to the tip, and a valve chip 4 provided at the tip of the valve core rod body 3. A void 22 formed at the tip of the circumferential wall 21 and a small diameter portion 25 provided between the frontward end and the rearward end of the valve chip 4 are fitted to each other with a play between the inner peripheral face of the circumferential wall 21 and the outer peripheral face of the small diameter portion 25, thereby making the valve chip 4 librative and rotatable.
