Thus, an inner cylinder fuel amount is larger than a fuel amountτi required at a first time combustion, which is the fuel amount required in order to burn the air-fuel mixture gas not including combustion gas, and the excessive amount exceeding the fuel amountτi of the amount of the fuel to be served for combustion when the air-fuel mixture is first burned, is suitably reduced. As a result, an air-fuel ratio of the burned air-fuel mixture is prevented from being in the excessively rich air-fuel ratio in the first combustion of the air-fuel mixture.
