PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying facility capable of conveying an article while accomplishing simplification of a constitution. SOLUTION: A movement body for conveying an article provided with a pair of truck portions 9 movable along a movement route 6 and a control means for controlling operation of the movement body are provided. The pair of truck portions 9 is constituted so as to cooperatively support the article B in the state in which they are spaced apart a set distance in a longitudinal direction of the movement route 6. On each of the pair of truck portions 9, a drive means for moving the truck portion 9 along the movement route 6 is provided. The control means is constituted so as to perform conveyance for controlling operation of the drive means provided on each of the pair of truck portions 9 so as to control the movement of the pair of truck portions 9 in the state in which the pair of truck portions 9 is spaced apart a set distance in the longitudinal direction of the movement route 6.
