PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a library shelf device for a library lifter arranged so as to be adjacent to a story storage/retrieval type stocker capable of securing the predetermined number of shelves for temporarily storing processed objects without arranging the shelves longitudinally to an upstairs floor. SOLUTION: The library shelf device is installed so as to face a lifter space D of the library lifter L for receiving/transferring the processed objects G between an upstairs station S2 and a downstairs station S2. The library shelf 5 is provided with connection ports 51, 52 for receiving/transferring the processed objects G between a stocker part S3 and the connection ports 51, 52 and with a plurality of temporary storage shelves 5A for temporarily storing the processed objects G.
