<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the throughput in a desired wavelength band by narrowing the wavelengh band of a light as compared with the conventional halogen lamps or optical filters and moreover, enable irradiation with beams of light different in wavelength band. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a variable wavelength monochromic light irradiation light source which emits a monochromic light from a monochromic LED light source, a monochromic laser diode light source or a laser light source with a variable peak wavelength in the ultranarrow band that has its half band width held within a prescribed wavelength range. More specifically, in the case of using the LED light source, it comprises a band pass filter for narrowing the wavelength bands of lights emitted from the light source and a diffusive lens for diffusing the light in the ultranarrow band with a half band width of 1-10 nm passing through the filter. In the case of using the laser diode light source, it comprises the light source and a diffusion means for diffusing the light. On the other hand, in the case of using the laser light source, it comprises a wavelength varying unit which carries out the variation of the light emitted from the laser light source and a diffusion means for diffusing the laser light outputted from the wavelength varying unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
