PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition having excellent mechanical strength, transfer properties, light transmittance, thermal stability and moldability and affording thin-wall molding and large-sized molding and to provide the lightguide plate composed of the resin composition. SOLUTION: The aromatic polycarbonate resin composition for the lightguide plate is obtained by compounding an aromatic polycarbonate resin having 13,000-15,000 viscosity-average molecular weight and 1.5-2.7 ratio Mw/Mn of the weight-average molecular weight to the number-average molecular weight measured by gel permeation chromatography and converted into polystyrene with a stabilizer and a mold release agent.
