PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of information printed on a reversible storage medium. SOLUTION: This printed document management device has: the storage medium 250 allowing reversible recording and erasure of information; a printing/erasure device 210 performing the printing onto the storage medium, and erasing the printed record; a document management server 200 managing the information or security of the information; an adding device 220 adding information onto the storage medium; and a monitor 230 monitoring bringing-out of a printed document. The storage medium 250 is imparted with a storage medium ID for identifying the individual medium. When the printing, the addition or the like to the storage medium is performed, the document management server 200 manages the storage medium ID and a security level of a printed document file. When the storage medium printed with the document is to be brought out, the monitor 230 sounds a warning of internal-use-only or the like according to the security level of the document.
