PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allocate tasks in grid computing while taking topology among nodes into consideration. SOLUTION: A grid computer system in which a plurality of nodes each equipped with a processor are connected in a grid shape generates a grid model composed of logical nodes according to the topology of the plurality of nodes and inter-node connecting devices. The grid model is divided into rectangular regions each including one or more logical nodes associated with one or more service requests made from outside. A scheduler executed at one of logical nodes in a rectangular region allocates a task processing program for processing tasks to other logical nodes in the rectangular region on the basis of the parallel degree or serial degree of tasks constituting the job of a service request corresponding to the rectangular region.
