PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of attaining the noise reduction. SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes: exhaust ports 21 and 22 formed in an outer housing 2; a ventilation housing 51 provided in the outer housing 2, including a first opening 52 communicating with the inside of the outer housing 2, and second and third openings 53 and 54 communicating with the outside of the outer housing 2 through the exhaust ports 21 and 22; a first axial fan 55 provided in the first opening 52 so as to ventilate between the inside of the outer casing 2 and the inside of the ventilation housing 51; and second and third axial fans 56 and 57 provided in the second and third openings 53 and 54, respectively so as to ventilate between the outside of the outer housing 2 and the inside of the ventilation housing 51.
