PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of reducing axial length while reducing the number of components and capable of improving durability of a coil spring and reducing dispersion of response of needle operation by suppressing the coil spring pressing a movable member from bending. SOLUTION: This valve is provided with a needle keeping flow of fuel in a fuel passage on and off, a movable core reciprocating in an axial direction together with a needle, a filter member 50 removing foreign matter contained in fuel, and a compression spring 17 touching the movable core on one end and touching a locking part 531 of the filter member 50 on another end and pressing the movable core on the needle side. The filter member 50 includes an outer wall part 533 extending in an axial direction from the locking part 531 along an outer circumference surface of the spring 17. An outer surface of the outer wall part 533 is pressed in a fixed core and positions the filter member 50 in an axial direction in relation to the fixed core. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
