摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase fluidity of intake air in a low rotation part load region by using an impulse valve without providing a special means such as one valve deactivation mechanism. SOLUTION: The common impulse valve 32 composed of a ball valve is provided in a first and a second intake port 16A, 16B connecting to a combustion chamber 15 of an engine, and supercharging effect can be shown by opening and closing the impulse valve 32 synchronizing with open and close timing of an intake valve 18 in a low rotation speed heavy load region. In the low rotation speed partial load region, the impulse valve 32 is fixed at an indicated middle opening to open the first intake port 16A and block the second intake port 16B. Intake air is thereby supplied to only the first intake port 16A without providing a special means such as the one valve deactivation mechanism, fluidity of intake air in the combustion chamber 15 is increased thereby, combustion conditions are improved, and fuel consumption quantity is reduced.
