PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring optical performance highly precisely by detecting and adjusting the position to the light axis highly precisely, in the measurement of the optical performance of an optical pick up, or lens of DSC (Digital Still Camera). SOLUTION: The position of the lens 105 to be tested to the optical axis is highly precisely detected and adjusted by the interference between the light emitted from the laser light source 1 and reflected at the reference surface 4 and the peripheral small surface 107 of the lens, the optical performance of the lens to be detected can be precisely measured by making measuring light which is emitted from the laser light source 100 with the same diameter light flux as the effective diameter by the optical filter 5 perfectly without disturbance light correctly incident on the lens spherical surface.
