PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security management device, capable of rapidly restoring synchronization slippage with an entrance/exit management device in a system in which entrance/exit management is interlocked with use authority management of equipment. SOLUTION: The security management device 30 comprises a communication part 32 for receiving entrance/exit information transmitted from the entrance/exit management device 10 as needed and history information of entrance/exit; a state management table 36 for storing entrance state, entrance/exit time, and the like; a state management part 34 for updating the state management table 36; and an equipment management part 40 for setting a use authority of equipment based on the entrance state of a user stored in the state management table 36. The state management part 34 updates, upon receipt of entrance/exit information, the state management table 36 based on this entrance/exit information. The state management part 34 updates the state management table 36 when history information is received and entrance/exit information fetched from the history information is newer than the entrance/exit information preliminarily stored in the state management table 36.
