PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing the cracking resistance while maintaining the partial wear resistance. SOLUTION: A circumferential small groove 31 extending in the tire circumferential direction is formed in a non-ground contact area 30 located inward of the tire radial direction of a shoulder part 12, and a lug groove 22 formed in a tread surface 11 is connected to the circumferential small groove 31. A wide part 38 having a large groove width is formed in a portion with the lug groove 22 connected thereto is formed in the circumferential small groove 31. Even when the load is applied to a vicinity of the shoulder part 12, the wide part 38 is formed in the connection part of the circumferential small groove 31 and the lug groove 22, and the distortion of this part can be reduced, and generation of cracks can be suppressed.
