<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument to which information necessary for communicatably connecting it to a server computer device is stably supplied via a removable medium. <P>SOLUTION: In a personal computer device PC which is independently provided from the electronic musical instrument, connection information (a user ID and a password) necessary for connecting the electronic musical instrument EL to the server computer device SV on communication network CN so that they can communicate each other, and connection environment setting information (an IP address and a sub-net mask etc.) necessary for setting network environment for the connection, are generated and enciphered, and the enciphered information is stored in the removable medium RM. The electronic musical instrument EL reads the enciphered information and deciphers it by incorporating the removal medium RM, and the network environment setting and log-in to the server computer device SV are attained by using the deciphered information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
