PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device provided with a printing device in which a height position of a label plane of the disk is changed, which can perform accurately desired print coping with it. SOLUTION: The disk drive device includes an optical pickup device in which information is recorded and/or information recorded in the information storage plane is reproduced for the information recording plane of the disk rotated in the prescribed direction and an ink jet type printing device performing printing by injecting ink for a label plane of the disk, also the device includes a distance keeping mechanism keeping a position of a printer head of the printing device at constant distance from the label plane. Since the distance keeping mechanism keeps a position of the printer head at constant distance from the label plane, even if the disk becomes a wobbled state when it is rotated, the printer head is kept at constant distance for the label plane, and printing can be performed.
