PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill conveyance system for quickly handling a request for change since the bill conveyance system has a change conveying mechanism conveying small bills sent in through a bill processor, a change payback passage for small bills, and a switching mechanism guiding the small bills being conveyed to the change payback passage, only small bills for change are conveyed in the change conveying mechanism to eliminate the need for a discriminating device when change is paid off, and bills are paid off with simple constitution in order from the bill closest to the game medium dispensing machine having requested. SOLUTION: The bill conveyance system comprises the bill processor having a discrimination section which discriminates whether an input bill is genuine and its denomination and a storage box for storing large bills among bills discriminated by the discrimination section; and a bill conveying device having the change conveying mechanism which conveys the small bills sent in through the bill processor, the change payback passage for paying the small bills back as change, and the switching mechanism which guides the small bills being conveyed to the change payback passage according to a player's request for change.
