PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively using a limited trace data memory and securing information at the occurrence of an obstruction. SOLUTION: In a communication control program, a trace memory is divided into a plurality of blocks. The blocks are shared by a plurality of circuits, and allocated to the circuits necessary for trace collection. The number of blocks to be allocated to every circuit are dynamically changed with use situations of the blocks. Each block has its own status in order to prevent loss of information caused by a wraparound method, and necessary information is maintained since trace information at the occurrence of the obstacle is prevented from being overwritten on the stored block. Further, types and levels of an event triggered the trace collection are controlled, and use of the trace memory due to the periodical event is minimized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
