PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underfloor ventilating structure in a building that can maintain the durability of metal members disposed in an underfloor space. SOLUTION: A filter 23 made of rock wool is provided between a rat-proof net 20 in an underfloor ventilating passage 22 and a sill throating 21. Air taken into the underfloor space via the underfloor ventilating passage 22 thereby passes through the filter 23, and clean air rid of dust, sea salt, or the like in the atmosphere is taken into the underfloor space. As a result, corrosion accelerating matter sticking to a steel frame and a joint fitting disposed in the underfloor space is reduced, and the durability of members in the underfloor space can be improved.
