PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure which exerts a high reinforcing effect and which can reduce the possibility that an adhesion part may be separated at a time so as to cause fatal destruction, in the action of an excessive load, and a member which is used for the reinforcing structure. SOLUTION: This reinforcing structure comprises the strip member 1, and a structure 3 to be reinforced, which is subjected to the fixing of the strip member 1 so as to be reinforced. In at least one of the strip member 1 and the structure 3, to be reinforced the surface, which comes into contact with the other one, has irregularities, and hardness higher than that of the other contact surface.
