A method and an apparatus for roaming/using DRM contents in a device are provided to use the DRM content in an unauthorized device by using a mobile device and permit other devices temporarily to use the contents through the mobile device. An RO(Rights Object) storing part(430) stores an RO. An authenticator(440) issues one-time authentication information to the mobile device. A receiver(420) receives a remote authentication request and authentication information from the unauthorized device. A transmitter(410) transmits a question required for remote authentication to the unauthorized device. The receiver receives a response to the question from the unauthorized device. The transmitter transmits data approving authentication to the unauthorized device. The authenticator has a function for storing and deleting the one-time authentication information, and a key for encoding the question.
