<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst sheet which strongly fixes a photocatalyst to a fiber substrate, has an excellent deodorizing performance and can be produced at a lower cost, and an air filter which has an excellent deodorizing performance and can be produced at a lower cost using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The photocatalyst sheet comprises a mixture of the photocatalyst and binder fixed firmly on the fiber substrate in the state of anchoring. The basis weight of the fiber substrate is preferably 5-500 g/m<SP>2</SP>. The fiber substrate is preferably a nonwoven cloth. The binder is preferably an inorganic binder, particularly bentonite. The photocatalyst is preferably titan oxide, particularly the titan oxide supported on an inorganic support. The mixture of the photocatalyst and the binder preferably contains the photocatalyst and the binder at a ratio of 1-25:1.
