PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording liquid containing a new metal chelate pigment; an inkjet recording method using the inkjet recording liquid; a color toner, a color filter and an optical information recording medium each containing the metal chelate pigment; and an optical information recording method using the optical information recording medium; further, to provide a method for producing the new metal chelate pigment and the metal chelate pigment produced by the production method.

SOLUTION: This inkjet recording liquid comprises at least one kind of metal chelate pigment obtained by reacting a pigment chelatable with a metal ion at two or more dentates and a chelatable compound.
