<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte composition capable of preventing drop in a discharge capacity retention factor in repeated charge discharge cycles even when dimethyl carbonate or ethyl methyl carbonate as a solvent, and to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the nonaqueous electrolyte composition. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte composition is prepared in such a way that an electrolyte salt and a chain carbonate having a 13-20C hydrocarbon group or halogenated hydrocarbon group, if necessary other carbonates having a double bond between carbons or a polymer compound are contained in a nonaqueous solvent containing dimethyl carbonate or ethyl methyl carbonate, and the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is manufactured by using the nonaqueous electrolyte composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
