<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, capable of stopping power supply to an unnecessary load without increasing interlock switches and capable of suppressing the inrush current. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus having an interlock switch 9, that opens and closes in conjunction with the opening and closing of a cover or a door is equipped with a control part 5 that detects opening and closing of the interlock switch 9 and controls the power supply both to a load 7 of a pathway which is routed via the interlock switch 9 and to a load 8 of a pathway which is not routed via the interlock switch 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
