<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing pigment dispersion excellent in dispersibility and having a good productivity, and an ink composition by using the pigment dispersion produced by the above production method and excellent in filterability, ejection property and haze. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the non-aqueous pigment dispersion containing at least a pigment, dispersant and polymerizable compound is characterized by comprising a process of finely dispersing the pigment by using beads having ≥0.01 and <0.3 mm diameter.
