DC OFFSET CORRECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC offset correction means capable of correctly executing the correction of a DC offset even when radio communication equipment for executing quadrature modulation by the direct RF modulation system transmits a non-modulation signal.

SOLUTION: The DC offset correction apparatus comprises: a fixed value setting section for setting a value used to allow a modulator to output a non-modulation signal with a particular phase; a non-modulation signal switching section for switchingly outputting a main signal and the value set to the fixed value setting section; and a DC offset correction control section that sequentially changes the particular phase of the non-modulation signal outputted from the modulator by sequentially changing the value set by the fixed value setting section and calculates a DC offset correction value which a DC offset correction section applies to an input signal on the basis of feedback signal data generated from the non-modulation signal whose phase is sequentially changed.
