<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifrequency antenna assembled inside an information terminal, such as personal computer, mobile phone or PDA, which is superior in the communication sensitivity over three bands comprising a WAN band and two wireless LAN bands, while being a compact antenna. <P>SOLUTION: In the multifrequency antenna where an element section 1 provided with a feeding point P1 and a ground plate 3 provided with a ground point P2 are connected side by side via a short-circuit section 2, the element section 1 is formed with a high-frequency side radiation element 1a, connected to the short-circuit section 2 and with two folded low-frequency lateral elements 1b, 1c connected to an end of the high-frequency side radiation element 1a and branched into two in an opposite direction, and the feeding point P1 is provided in the high-frequency side radiation element 1a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
