<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate material having a protective layer which is formed by coating by using a bar coating device on a substrate having an image forming layer provided by coating and is superior in coating properties and stable in performance, a manufacturing method thereof and a printing method using the lithographic printing plate material. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing plate material having a constitution wherein a hydrophilic layer, the image forming layer containing hot-melt particles and the protective layer containing particles are sequentially provided on the substrate is manufactured by the method wherein a protective layer coating solution is applied onto the substrate conveyed continuously and having the hydrophilic layer and the image forming layer provided thereon by coating and then the protective layer coating solution in a surplus amount is scraped off and applied by using a bar. In this manufacturing method of the lithographic printing plate material, relations of 0.25W2<D≤W1 and 0.2≤W2/W1<0.6 are established when a wet film thickness of the protective layer coating solution is made W1(μm) and when a film thickness of the protective layer after drying is made W2(μm) and the largest average particle diameter of the particles contained in the protective layer D(μm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
