<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical thin sheet which is light in weight, is highly diffusive and is used for a flat panel liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The optical thin sheet comprises: a substrate; and a light diffusion layer formed on at least one surface of the substrate, wherein the light diffusion layer has a rugged structure formed so as to operate as the light diffusion layer on a light incident surface, a light emission surface or both of the substrate. The rugged structure can be formed by screen printing, spraying and embossing, and more preferably by applying resin coating layer having the rugged structure on the surface of the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
