SOLUTION: The driving operation auxiliary device for the vehicle 1 includes obstacle detection means 10, 20, 21 and 30 for detecting obstacles existent in the surroundings of the self-vehicle; an obstacle recognition means 50 for detecting the direction of existence, the relative distance and the relative speed of the obstacles to the self-vehicle, based on the detection states obtained by the obstacle detection means 10, 20, 21 and 30, respectively; a risk degree decision means 50 for calculating the degree of risk of the self-vehicle to the obstacle based on a signal from the obstacle recognition means 50; vehicle equipment operation quantity control means 60, 80 and 90 for controlling the operation of vehicle equipment based on the signal from the obstacle recognition means 50, so as to promote the driver to perform drive operation related to the back and forth movement and the left and right movement of the self-vehicle; and a distribution adjustment means 50 for adjusting the distribution of a control quantity in the back and forth direction and a control quantity in the left and right direction to be applied in the vehicle equipment operation quantity control means 60, 80 and 90.
