<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which is capable of improving in throughput even while a loss rate is high without any special notification of information as to congestion from a network. <P>SOLUTION: A congestion decision unit 21 determines whether a current state of congestion is light or heavy from an ACK packet and contents stored in a session state storage unit, and transfers processing to a network state estimation unit 22 or a usual transfer unit 27 corresponding to decision results. The network state estimation unit 22 estimates the congestion state of a network from the ACK packet and the contents stored in the session state storage unit. A light/heavy congestion decision unit 23 determines whether a current state of congestion is light or heavy from the estimation results of the network state estimation unit 22, and transfers processing to a resending decision unit 24 or a heavy congestion resending unit 25. The resending decision unit 24 judges whether a segment that is not resent yet is contained in the segments that are requested to be resent from a recipient through ACK, and transfers processing to a light congestion resending unit 26 or a usual transfer unit 27 corresponding to the decision results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
