<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load distribution method whereby a switch discriminates frames transmitted from a user terminal to BASes (broadband access servers) so as to achieve load distribution of the BASes. <P>SOLUTION: The switch with a load distribution function is installed between the user terminal and the BASes, and the switch distributes a connection request load from the user terminal impartially or in accordance with a setting ratio. The switch installed between the user terminal and at least one or more broadband access servers (hereinafter abbreviated as BASes) discriminates contents of the frame transmitted from the user terminal to the BASes, and when the switch discriminates that the contents of the frame indicate a broadcast frame and a connection request frame, the switch transfers the connection request frame only to a BAS selected according to a setting policy to achieve load distribution by the number of connected users to the BASes by this method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
