<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for hydrogenation treatment, which maintains yield of middle distillate being the objective substance of wax hydrocracking and isomerization ratio of normal paraffin to isoparaffin at high levels in simultaneously carrying out the hydrorefining of a liquid fuel base containing normal paraffin and wax hydrocracking. <P>SOLUTION: In a fixed bed reactor equipped with a hydrocracking part 1a at the upstream side and a hydrorefining part 1b at the downstream side, respectively, a distance d<SB>2</SB>from the upstream end to the downstream end of a hydrorefining catalyst layer 3 is smaller than a distance d<SB>1</SB>from the upstream end to the downstream end of a hydrocracking catalyst layer 2, wax is fed to the hydrocracking part 1a, a liquid fuel base containing normal paraffin is fed to the hydrorefining part 1b, respectively, and wax hydrocracking is carried out at the hydrocracking part 1a and the hydrorefining of the decomposition product from the hydrocracking part 1a and the hydrorefining of the liquid fuel base are carried out at the hydrorefining part 1b, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
