PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient radio communication system capable of reducing bands used by transmitting-side and receiving-side access point devices for radio communication and accepting a transmission request from the other new radio terminal. SOLUTION: Transmitting-side band data are indicative of a whole band amount required for radio communication determined based on a CODEC system designated by the other radio terminal which requests transmission to a transmitting-side access point device and a CODEC system set to a transmitting-side radio terminal. When the transmitting-side band data exceed first transmitting-side threshold data indicative of a band amount that becomes a reference for determining a necessity to change the CODEC system set to each radio terminal by radio communication, the radio communication is held. the CODEC system set to each radio terminal by holding is changed into a CODEC system in which bands used therefor are reduced and after the change, the holding of the radio communication under holding is canceled.
