PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt hinge capable of reducing cost as the number of components can be reduced, and a manufacturing and assembling technology of high accuracy is not needed, and free from the deterioration of performance caused by a long-term use. SOLUTION: This tilt hinge is composed of a holder integrally mounted and fixed to a device main body such as a notebook-sized personal computer and the like, a shaft integrally mounted and fixed to an opening and closing member of a display and the like, a flange formed integrally with the shaft, and rotatably received in a cylinder formed on the holder, a resisting plate integrally mounted to the shaft through the flange, a set screw engaged with a female screw formed at the holder, and a viscous fluid filled in a sealed space surrounded by the cylinder, the flange and the tip face of the set screw.
