PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear making valve lift characteristics of a plurality of cylinder groups approximately match while suppressing degradation in layout property of each component so as to stabilize combustion characteristics between cylinder groups. SOLUTION: Rotation force of each drive cam 4 included in right and left banks of a V-type internal combustion engine is transmitted to each of oscillating cams 5, 18 through a multi-joint link type transmission mechanism 7 so as to open/close each intake valve 2, and posture of the transmission mechanism is changed by a control mechanism 8 to perform variable control of a valve lift amount of the intake valves. The oscillating movement characteristics of oscillating cams with respect to angles of rotation of drive cams are set to be the same. The cam profile of the oscillating cam of the left bank is set so that the valve lift characteristics of the intake valves match with respect to an oscillating angle of each oscillating cam through each valve operating member.
