摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI device wherein the deformation caused at welding and the deterioration of current-carrying performance of a superconducting coil due to heat are restrained, and further the height in vertical direction and weight are suppressed. SOLUTION: A superconducting magnet device 110 includes two circle-like helium vessels 7 substantially symmetrically, vertically arranged to have a space therebetween. Each of vessels contains a main coil 1 for generating a measuring magnetic field and a shield coil 3 for generating a magnetic field for suppressing leak to the outside of the measuring magnetic field, together with a liquid helium. At a center part of a symmetrical plane between the vessels, a uniform measuring magnetic field is generated. An opposite surface of a surface facing the symmetrical plane of the circle-like helium vessel 7 is made of a thick plate 5 acting as a structural supporting member. A shield coil bobbin 4 containing the shield coil 3 is supported by the thick plate 5. A main coil bobbin 2 housing the main coil 1 is supported by the thick plate 5 and the shield coil bobbin 4.
