PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary cooling device of which the heat exchange efficiency is improved by increasing a heat radiation proportion by evaporation latent heat in heat radiation from a heat exchanger of an outdoor unit. SOLUTION: The auxiliary cooling device 10 of the outdoor unit is equipped with a nozzle 53, water supply piping 52 and heating means 56, 56a, 56b, 56c and 56d. The nozzle 53 sprays water to a heat exchanger 32 of the outdoor unit 10 of an air conditioner. The water supply piping 52 supplies water to the nozzle 53.
