PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe information collection system capable of reducing redundancy of probe information collected from an FCD (Floating Car Data) onboard machine. SOLUTION: In this probe information collection system, the FCD onboard machine 3 compares information transmitted from an information collection center 4 and information held by the FCD onboard machine 3 itself, and transmits the probe information to the information collection center 4 only when a prescribed condition is satisfied about a comparison result thereof. Specifically, when a probe car 2 performs a complete travel of a link during traveling, the FCD onboard machine 3 compares a link travel time T1 transmitted from the information collection center 4 and a link travel time T2 acquired by the FCD onboard machine 3 itself, and transmits the latter to the information collection center 4 when a difference is present between two sides.
