PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor, in which an optimum clearance between scrolls is easily set in assembly, and an appropriate clearance between the scrolls is secured even if thermal expansion occurs in operation. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor comprises: a housing 2 having a drive-side casing 4 and a compression-side casing 6 mutually connected with a connecting bolt 8; and a scroll unit having a movable scroll 32 housed in the compression-side casing and driven by a drive shaft 10 and revolving around an axial center of a fixed scroll 30, so as to perform a series of processes of suction, compression, and discharge of working gas. The scroll compressor further comprises an annular member 38 caught and disposed between connecting faces 4a, 6c of each casing facing an axial direction of the drive shaft, absorbing a pressing force in an axial direction of the movable scroll with respect to the fixed scroll, and securing the clearance between the scrolls in the axial direction.
