PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow turbine with reduced size, preventing deterioration of its performance. SOLUTION: The axial flow turbine comprises: a casing 3; a rotational shaft 5 rotatably supported in the casing 3; a disc part 7 disposed to the rotational shaft 5; moving blades 9 disposed to an outer-peripheral-side end face of the disc part 7; blowout part 11 blowing high-temperature working fluid from the casing 3 toward the moving blades 9 so as to rotate the rotational shaft 5, the disc part 7 and the moving blades 9; a cooling passage 17 guiding the working fluid which passed through the moving blades 9 and whose temperature is decreased is guided to an upstream face 21 in the disc part 7 with respect to a blowout direction of the working fluid; and a guide passage 19 guiding the working fluid which passed through the cooling passage 17 to the downstream of the disc part 7 with respect to the blowout direction of the working fluid.
