PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower silenced with improving efficiency. SOLUTION: The number of downstream straightening vanes projectingly provided on a rear surface of a diffuser main body 56 is set as non-integer number times the number of upstream straightening vanes 57 projectingly provided on a front surface of the diffuser main body 56, and is greater than the number of the upstream straightening vanes 58. Improvement of efficiency and silencing can be done by forming each opening area on the upstream side between the downstream straightening vanes 58, 58 larger than each opening area on the downstream side between the upstream straightening vanes 57, 57.
